AIR QUALITY TEAM

Revanth is a Software Engineering graduate student at the University of Maryland and a Graduate Research Assistant at T.H.E. E.J. Lab.

With three years of professional experience as a Software Engineer specializing in web and enterprise applications, Revanth brings a wealth of expertise to their research role. At The EJ Lab, they contribute significantly to Air Quality Monitoring projects and collaborate with the GIS team on manuscripts and data analysis, focusing on managing and analyzing extensive sensor data, often surpassing a million rows. Their work involves downloading and monitoring sensors, cleaning and preprocessing data, and developing robust tools to streamline these processes.

As a skilled programmer, Revanth builds user-friendly applications, frequently hosting them on platforms like Streamlit to enhance accessibility. They leverage powerful libraries and tools such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and R for data cleaning and visualization while exploring advanced machine learning techniques to interpolate missing data and address data gaps effectively.

In addition, Revanth is passionate about harnessing the potential of large language models (LLMs). By fine-tuning LLMs with sensor-specific datasets, they aim to develop vertical agents tailored to the lab's unique needs. This innovative approach reflects their dedication to integrating cutting-edge technology to derive actionable insights and drive research forward.
