Eli received his undergraduate degree in Education at Temple University in 2016 and his MS in GIS at University of Maryland, College Park in 2023.

His master's thesis was on open-source methods of geographic ego network analysis. At T.H.E. E.J. Lab he has developed the MD EJ Screen 3.0 and 3.2, along with research on the interpolation of Air Quality using low-cost, localized air monitoring equipment.

In his spare time Eli enjoys kick-boxing, climbing, and video games.
